Emergency Preparedness

Emergency Preparedness Week (EP Week) is an annual event that takes place each year during the first full week of May. This national event is coordinated by Public Safety Canada, in close collaboration with the provinces, territories and partners.

Emergency Preparedness (EP) is everyone’s responsibility. Some individuals may not have the support or capacity to deal with emergencies. Reach out to neighbors, family and friends who may be vulnerable or unable to support themselves during an emergency.

Visit the Public Safety Canada website for additional information and resources.
